Tim and Luke have been busy in the last week getting the insulation in to the walls and the VJ sheeting up.

They have Rob and Lachy with them now too so its a busy site with lots happening.  The office mouse loves the bifold doors off the lounge and bifold windows in the kitchen, with them wide open it will be so cool in summer and make the overall space huge including the courtyard.

Gavin the plasterer from Jake Plasterers is about to arrive to sheet the ceilings so its time the office mouse got out of the way!

This photo is taken from the driveway side showing that they have almost finished putting up all the weatherboards to the outer walls.  This is normally called the “enclosed stage” of the job when all the window and door joinery is in and the external cladding is on.

The carpenters have also been putting up the pailings to the new lockable storage area under the front verandah.

So when the office mouse returns next week they will have started on the “second fix” stage inside which includes all the finer finishing work in timber around the skirting, doors and windows.
