The family room extension in this Brisbane home is almost finished.

A full length window seat / double day bed and a built-in-book case have been installed and will have a painted finish.  The architraves and skirtings have been fitted, finishing off the VJ walls and timber joinery. Once the painters have been through the timber floor will be polished.

Timber battens have been installed to the front of the lower verandah to seal off the pool enclosure and provide an additional storage area. The ceiling in the lower verandah has been sheeted to finish off the out door living space.  Handrails will be fitted on both the upper and lower verandah’s in the coming week. This second level addition to the home in St Lucia Brisbane is almost at completion stage!
