This home extension and renovation in Brisbane has so much happening I don’t know where to begin, the tiler has finished upstairs in the new bathroom and the plasterer is working his magic everywhere downstairs.

The new second story is so close to being finished now, Dave and Phil are just waiting on the handrails for the deck to arrive and the installers are due later today to fit the shower screen and vanity mirror to the lovely new modern bathroom.

The new upper level floor and stairs look fantastic all polished, the colour of the timber is so beautiful and rich.

Chrissy from “Iron Maiden Services” is busy cleaning the new upper level extension so the Clients can start moving in up there late today.

Meanwhile downstairs Dave and Phil have stripped out the old study and kitchen and have opened up the doorway between the two rooms which will really make a difference to the light and air flow to both rooms.

Gavin the plasterer and his team from “Jake Plasterers” are busy relining the study and kitchen and Dave is replacing the floor boards where the old island bench was.

The new custom built kitchen from “Erwin Interiors & Cabinetmakers” is arriving later today and will be installed tomorrow.  Then a template for the bench tops will be made for the new stone bench tops to be cut and fitted.

Dave and Phil are also doing the second fix now in the newly renovated lounge/dining area, hallway and two of the downstairs bedrooms.  This is when they fix all the new architraves to the windows and doors and new skirting boards are fitted.

The office mouse is feeling exhausted just seeing all the action going on, its time to head back to the office to rest!
