The old kitchen has gone and after extensive renovations this beautiful new kitchen is near completion. The team from “Urban One Marble” are just finishing off the installation of the bench tops in the new custom built kitchen and it looks fantastic. Then just the splashbacks around the benchtops and tapware to go.
Meanwhile the floor polisher from “In-timber Floors” is busy sanding the lower level and will soon be able to do the kitchen and study area as well.
The new flooring in the lounge / dining area will be stained and colour matched to the existing once the whole lower level area has been sanded. Three coates of polish be applied over several days and once dried “Iron Maiden Services” will do a final clean in the lower level so the Clients can move their furniture back in.
The photo on the right is the master bedroom which has been relined, painted and has a lovely new wardrobe fitted. The other two lower level bedrooms where also relined, painted and a new wardrobe installed.
The next time the office mouse visits this home renovation and extension in Brisbane it will be almost finished.
Next week Dave and Phil will be doing the final fitting off such as putting the last new door handles on, Derek will be doing the final site cleanup, Andrew the electrician will be installing the rest of the power points, switches and light shades and the painters will do the final gloss finish on the doors, architraves and skirting.
By Thursday the Clients will be enjoying their newly renovated home and making the most of all the extra space that the new second story extension has given them.
So I will have to go back take the final photos to show the project all finished.
