In the first photo Rob and Lachy have prepared the site for the footings to be poored and minor demolition work to the front of the house has been carried out in the first stage of the lower level extension.
The second photo shows the steel beams being lowered into place which will form part of the lower extension as well as load bearing support for the new upper level addition. The footings and slab have been poured and Rob and Lachy have started on the framework for the lower extension. The office mouse will go into more detail about the new upper level extension next blog.
