Gavin the plasterer and his team have almost finished their work gyprocking the three new bedrooms, retreat area, bathroom and stair opening in the new upper level extension. Meanwhile Peter the tiler is tiling the new bathroom with its seperate toilet and shower.
Downstairs the carpenters Rob and Lachy have started framing and lining the new extended lounge area to the front of the house. The existing 4th bedroom downstairs will have an internal wall removed to make way for the enlarged family room. This room now has a new large glass sliding door opening out onto the extended and lined patio area at the rear of the house.
On the lower level the 3rd existing bedroom will become the office / craft room with 2.9m wide bi-folding doors which will open into the family room.
The stairs will be installed late this week which will mean the new upper level extension will be ready for the painters to do the internal painting work.
This is an exciting stage for the clients when they can see the upper level getting closer to finish stage and they will be able to move in up there. So when the office mouse returns next week the bathroom will be fully tiled, the stairs in and plenty of progress downstairs with the new rooms.
