This home extension and renovation in Carindale Brisbane includes extending the upper level over the verandah and deck for a new bedroom and parents retreat. The old parents retreat is being converted into a walk-in-robe and new full length built-in-robes have been constructed into two of the bedrooms.

The upper level extension is being built at the rear of the home and as these photos show it is a busy site with scaffolding and safety rails secured around the new upper level area during the build.

Carpenters Dave and Phil have all the timber frame work in place and now the windows are in Gavin from Jake Plasterers has completed the internal plaster work.

The extensions second fix stage is underway with all the door and window architraves and skirting going in.

The external blue board sheeting has been fixed and will have a ‘texture sponge coat finish’.
