You can see the new upper level taking shape now from the street as the wall frames are going up on this new second story extension to the home in West End Brisbane.

The scaffolding for the second storey extension allows safe easy access as the majority of the build to the new upper level is  done externally.  Although in this particular job there is also considerable lower level renovations being done to the exisitng home.

The shot on the left is taken from the rear of the house in what will be the main bedroom and the one on the right is from the front of the house which will be the study.  From this photo in the mid-section on the left is a large ensuite, a retreat area in the middle and the stairs void on the right.  The next article on this second story extension will show the roof trusses up and the roof tilers laying the terracotta tiles.
