The last time the office mouse visited this job there was no exterior timber cladding on the walls or windows installed. Now the plasterer has finished his work on the interior, Tim and Luke have finished the second fix stage putting in all the door and window architraves and skirting boards.
The ensuite and main bathroom have been wet sealed ready for Peter the tiler and once the painters have finished the upper level inside and out the bathrooms can be fitted out, this will include the plumber and the electrician. Finally the timber floor area will be polished and all the final fittings installed.
The photo to the right shows the floor area and ceiling area opened up ready to build the stairwell and commence the extensive renovation work downstairs. So by the time the office mouse returns next week the painters will be there and the lower renovations will be well underway.
