The upper level renovations in this Brisbane home are just about complete with just the stair handrail to be installed and the top rail to go on the stair wall when it arrives.  Then the new area will be ready for the painters and the floor polisher.

Rob and Lachy have moved outside now and have demolished the old carport and driveway and are preparing the site for the new altered driveway which will include a retaining wall by the pool area and stairs down to the new lower level extension.  They will also be constructing a new double carport with a gabled roof to match the existing home.

In the under house extension area Tim is currently constructing built-in-robes in the two bedrooms and finishing off the architraves, cornices and skirting boards to all the rooms. This has all been done to match the profiles of the upper level and are in keeping with the existing art deco style.

The kitchen and laundry cupboards will be installed this week and Peter the Tiler should be arriving to tile the new bathroom now that it has been wet sealed.

The office mouse will be back here later in the week to see all the exciting progress with the kitchen and laundry in, the carport under construction and the bathroom tiled.
